• Program Coordinator/ ESL Instructor

We are currently looking for a Program Coordinator/ESL Instructor, who will be responsible for the ongoing assessment, as well as planning and implementation of the school’s ESL program and curricular components. Aside from ESL teaching, the position will have administrative duties that support the School Director, Accreditation Coordinator and the school’s day-to-day operations. Candidates for this position must have knowledge of ESL curriculum development and teacher supervision. This position will report directly to the Director and Accreditation Coordinator.

Candidates must have:

  1. A Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related discipline;
  2. At least 1 year teaching experience in teaching ESL to adults;
  3. Administrative experience in the area of ESL and/or continuing education;
  4. Persuasive communication and leadership skills; and
  5. Excellent writing skills

• ESL Instructor

NLS is currently looking for creative, outgoing and dedicated instructors (full or part time) to teach ESL to adults. Successful applicants will have the ability to work effectively with adult students, colleagues, staff and others in an environment that promotes learning, cultural diversity and multicultural understanding.

Candidates must have:

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in English, Communication, Linguistics or any related field;
  2. At least one (1) year of experience teaching English as a Second Language to adults in a supervised setting;
  3. Excellent English language proficiency;
  4. Excellent organizational and classroom management skills.
